Busy night so I just did a little bit. I clecoed the bottom skins onto the right wing.
Squared up the right wing in the stand by jacking up the middle and dropping plumb bobs from each end. Surprisingly, I didn’t have to shim at all. There was no twist. I guess my wing stand arms are perfectly aligned with each other, eventhough I didn’t really work on that too much. I just made sure they were level.
I started clecoing on the top skins, but the rear spar appeared to be off by 1/32″ along the entire length. I took out a big square and aligned it with the main spar and compared with the rear spar. Sure enough, the structure was not quite square. I loosened up the clamp holding the rear spar and moved it over just a tad. Perfect fit.
Drilled out the top skins, moved the clecos, and finished off the drilling.
